Reset Reality Check

Friday, March 24, 2017

So I'm starting over 8 years after I first started with SparkPeople. Because I didn't maintain, I am starting again with an additional 4.4 pounds and 3.75 inches that I didn't have in 2009. I originally lost 26 pounds and 29.25 total inches (measuring 10 places over arms, legs, and torso). So now, to get back to where I was when I reached my goals last time, I have to lose 30.4 pounds and 33 inches. The last time it took me 7 months to reach my goals, and I was 8 years younger, so I expect it will be harder and maybe take longer this time around. emoticon Well, I know what's before me, so I have to suck it up and be persistent in working the program.

Welcome back. Nice to see you again. Don't waste energy on regret and disappointment. Been there, done that. The good thing is that this SP door is always open as a tool to use.

The same thing happened to me. Lost 30 pounds, gained back over 40. You can get back to where you were. I've been back (after 7 years away) for several months and I'm almost at goal again. You can do it!
