Cheat Days

What is a cheat day?
Well it's one day a week where you eat what you want without worrying about the conciseness.
This past Sunday, I woke up, was so proud of my weight loss and being 2lbs away from my first mile stone.
So proud, that I caved and fell back into an old habit. I rewarded myself with food. emoticon
I thought, "well, I deserve this! So I'm going to sit on the cough, watch a tv show, and eat as much kraft dinner as I wasn't. Oh and how about some icecream, and chicken wings, and pop and candy and....... it was horrible. emoticon

And worst of all.... I was eating and eating... and trying to allow myself to feel the way it once felt when I sat around an binged. But to my shock, I didn't seem to be enjoying it at all! In fact, I was looking forward to the day to be done, and I could get back on track.

I'm honestly glad it happened! It taught me a very valuable lesson.

I'll never be able to go back even for a day to thinking over eating is a good idea. I enjoy the weight loss journey more then I realised.... more then food.

Anyway, off to a great start today! Hoping I can move past this and keep plowing away at the weight loss!

that's wonderful that you felt differently. I don't have cheat days really, every once in a great while I'll splurge and have something that isn't the healthiest choice but I still stay in my ranges for the day. best of luck moving forward!
