Ah, that new life smell😛

It's been a long time since I made a blog post here. What, over a year? I've recently started a blog on WordPress that will lead into a future book of nonfiction. So maybe blogging here will propel that work forward. Since my last blog here I've been through a lot of life changes and challenges. I've been considering my life over the past few years. Trying to discern God's plan for my life. What are these challenges trying to show me? What virtues are they building in my character? Time will tell. Some barriers have changed my direction to a better destination. Divine Providence. How much of our own suffering can be attributed at times to our own failed or misinformed decisions--or to someone else's? Are we meant to trudge down a long and winding road, lost, alone, confused, in chaos? I don't know definitively but I don't believe so. In a happier moment, yesterday my son's monumental 21st birthday! 😊💕Where did the time go?
