Cutting out soda

I've been known to avidly partake in the drinking of carbonated high calorie beverages for about half my life....yes, I know soda is bad for me, but it's been a weakness of mine for a very long time. I've been slowly easing back into going to the gym, and I'll drink water when I'm there, but when I get home I go right back to pop. I know it sounds dumb, but I never really thought about the caloric intake that comes with drinking three 20 oz. Cherry Cokes a day for the past 15 years.
Once I did, my mind was made up that it had to go. It's going to be hard, but I deserve to be healthy and if cutting out soda is what I have to do, then I guess that's it! I'm currently on day 4 and have had several cravings, but to be completely honest, I'm okay. I've never been a fan of water, so I'm still trying new flavored waters and unsweet tea to try and find an alternative... It'll get easier, it has to LOL!
