Weekends and goals and setbacks oh my!

Trying something new... Blogging in a steam of though. No reading back over it. It's just what I'm feeling at the time or what I want to share right now so I have a diary to look back on. (So please forgive any typos and/or weird trains of thought! Haha. 💜) For the 3 weeks or so I've been tracking, meal prepping, drinking lots of water and just genuinely trying to re-teach myself to be/eat healthy. I'm working on a SMART goal sheet and building my list of milestones and the rewards I'm going to allow myself as I reach each of these milestones. For the first time in a long time I feel refocused and eager to make changes for me. Not anyone else. But just me. It's also been fun learning about different meal prep ideas, coming up with ones on my own and just re-engaging with my relationship with food. Next step is to finish my plan and milestones and share then with a few people that I'm close to. Not to make it their responsibility to hold me accountable but to make my goals real by sharing my intent with people that I know love me and have my best interest at heart. During the week I work an office job. I have a more formal schedule and it's easier to set reminders and do things on a schedule. That being said, weekends are hard for me. But this weekend I've been determined to keep on track and log everything. I don't want one or two days to set back five days worth of hard work and willpower. (As it has been for the last few weeks) Here is to the small triumphs that get us through the day. One day at a time. 💜 ~Soraya 5.13.2017
