staying strong pays off

this past week has been one of those weeks that the old me would have given up and ate my way back up.
my truck engine blew up and i had to get another vehicle but everything is in my husbands name and he is overseas. so than i had to go through a big mess but finally got it straightened out during the week.
secondly someone was poisioning my pups. i lost one and one came home so sick i rushed him to the hospital and saved him. now he is home and doing much better.
usually i would have eaten everything i am a big time stress eater. did i stay perfect no but didnt go way overboard either. i gained 2 lbs which isnt all that bad. as of this morning those 2 lbs are gone and a few extra ozs went with it.
i have learned that life will always be coming at me and its up to me to decide in which direction i want 2 take it.
i am moving onward and downward on the scale.
