The Five Percent Chronicles - Week 5 Recap

Week 5 was all about exercising harder after recovering from my cold. I was a little bemused when I realized how little energy I had; cardio felt like it took way more effort than usual, and it left me feeling shaky and exhausted every time. When I went for my walk on Friday, my pace had slowed down by a minute (which isn't bad, but I still raised an eyebrow at it).
I'm having a lot of trouble getting enough protein each day, so I figure that's the main cause of my decreased endurance. I usually don't quite reach the bottom range of my fat and fibre intake, either, and my carbs I'll skim just under or just over the bottom range even though I'll succeed in getting enough calories. Sheesh. I'm still trying to figure all this out, but I'm so thankful for the SP nutrition tracker for making me so very aware of all these things!
The little changes in my body seem to be happening more quickly now. I've suddenly got that one little problem I always used to have when I was at my goal weight; if I lie on my side too long, my rib area on that side goes numb. And on one afternoon, I looked in the mirror and noticed that my bust has shrunk; not enough to go down a bra size just yet, but wow! I'm not against a big bosom whatsoever, but I'm excited to even dream about one day being a C-cup and finding bras more easily!
The fat eviction continues. I destroyed a pound this week! There's the chance that it might actually be a little more than that, since weigh-in day was the start of That-Time-of-the-Month. But either way, I'm happy because it means I'm OUT of the 190s and am in the 180s!!!
I've been quite tempted to go with M (brother-in-law) to the gym. He says you can just use whatever machine you like and there's people there of all sizes, so it sounds quite nice to me! I just need to score some real workout clothes. I don't have any decent workout tops and just use random ones, and my yoga pants have gigantic holes in the thighs so I wear leggings under them. Maybe new workout clothes can be my reward for joining the 180s club!
