Six years, and what has changed?

Ok, that title sounds really depressing! I didn't mean for it to be. I didn't realize I'd been here for 6 years till I started getting congrats from people! LOL. I started this site the year I turned 30, just after I moved in with my then-fiance. I remember being shocked at tracking an ordinary day, and realizing that I was consuming at least 3,000 calories per day. Probably more, as I wasn't checking serving sizes. I'd go to a restaurant, and have 4 or 5 glasses of soda in a meal. Yikes! One of my favorite "snacks" was McDonald's Filet o fish meal with a large coke. Yea. That was a SNACK. Then I'd go home and eat a greasy dinner on top of that. I've always been really active, which is probably why I was as healthy as I was. I was lucky to choke down a glass of water in a day. Let alone 8.
This is me and my now-hubby the year I turned 30.
How things have changed. That June, we got married. I was down to about 227, which was about 10 lb. I got pregnant with our first son Nate about a year later. Then we lost our 2nd baby when Nate was just under a year. Then We had Wes, and now I'm pregnant with my 4th baby.
Health wise? The scale hasn't reflected much, but I'm walking every day, I'm drinking far more water, if I do get soda, it's maybe two glasses, usually more like half of one! I'm eating far better. And with the gestational diabetes, as much as I'm struggling with it, my waistline is thanking me! I'm down to 222, which is about 8lb down from the beginning of the pregnancy. Baby Lilian is doing just fine. As long as that's the case, I am THRILLED. I'll probably gain it all back right before she's born, which is what happened with Nate, but then see a significant drop when she's born.
It doesn't LOOK like much has changed in six years, but they really have. And I couldn't have done it without you all!
This is me last weekend, going to a Rennisance Wedding. I'm currently 6 mo pregnant. :)
