July

Wednesday, July 05, 2017

I am struggling. Not sure if it from the busy schedule right now, or just lack of momentum. I do really well for 3-4 days, then fall off the wagon on weekends. I have had a lot of busy weekends lately with get togethers and such for wedding preparations.

Our 4th of July weekend was just wonderful emoticon

I picked up my grand daughter on Sunday right after she had some pictures taken for summer!

Monday, we took her on her first bike ride. My husband and i love to ride bikes and walk, so we bought a used bike trailer for her to ride in. She had so much fun!

My daughter and fiancee came up yesterday to celebrate Independence Day. Such a laid back day! We played Yahtzee on the patio table, enjoyed the weather, grilled burgers with potato salad and Jello Flag Mold. And Anastasia tried out her new pool!

I even started out the morning, by embroidering Anastasia a cute Patriotic Princess shirt!

I am tired and exhausted, but I wouldn't trade this past weekend for anything! Family is everything! Now, to get back on track and figure out how to eat healthy at get togethers...... Tomorrow, I will get up early to work out before work and come home to the treadmill. It is supposed to hit 90, so too hot to walk outside.....

Thanks for listening!

First of all, Anastasia is absolutely, completely adorable!

As for weekends, generally the "routine" is a little more relaxed, and that tends to include eating. I do try to get my meal plans together for a week, including weekends. It helps!

Sometimes, getting the balance right takes time. Don't be too hard on yourself or frustrated, after the wedding, things will certainly settle down. In the meantime, enjoy those giggles and do what you can to keep on track. You'll work it out!

Oh my goodness she is so cute 😍 You're spending quality time with family. It's what matters. It's OK to not eat perfectly all the time.

Good thoughts about the week days. Focus on them as being primary and then relax some on the weekends. A cheat day now or then can keep your momentum up and going. Enjoy. The pictures are so cute!! I can imagine that you had an awesome weekend!!

Weekends take a different type of consistency and you most like are consistent during the week because you play hard on the weekend. Sounds like you are being honest with yourself so now to experiment with achieving weekend goals. Great job!

You are doing well. You focused on family and fun when you have a chance and you incorporated being active while having fun. Love the bike trailers. Think about smal, healthy changes and try them at next get together. Maybe a big salad wirh the burge
