Halfway There & New Photos

When I joined SparkPeople six months ago, I had only loosely defined goals. I had been exercising for 10+ minutes a day for a while and wanted to track the number of consecutive days I could do it. Since SP has the nutrition tracker, I somewhat hesitantly decided to use that feature, too.

It took me three months to feel comfortable enough to post some brutally honest photos. After seeing the photos I got serious and set some real goals. I increased my minimum daily exercise minutes and set an initial goal to achieve a 24" waist or visible ab definition.

These pictures were taken on April 25th.

I posted weekly progress photos for a while but eventually got too busy to keep up. That doesn't mean I stopped working though. A few weeks ago I achieved my initial goal of a 24" waist and, like many of you, decided to keep going.

These photos were taken this morning.

Instead of setting a physical goal that may or may not be feasible, I decided to go for a full year of fitness. I'm going to exercise everyday for at least one full year. Since I started tracking six months ago today, that means I'm officially halfway there.
