Juicer Arriving Today, Weekend Order Exercyle & mini tramp, Misc.

Friday, September 15, 2017

Yes, my juicer arrives today. I've been through this rodeo before, but this time I'm going to try an experiment. I think. I've also got to research what to do with the pulp. I think I can use it in my smoothies. We'll see. I'm excited to see if 1. I'll do this experiment, 2. What results I get.

I've narrowed down my choices of exercise bike and mini trampoline and will order this weekend. I don't intend to do serious jumping acrobatics, just light cardio. (smiling)

Is change really possible? Sure, we know it is. But it's so frustrating when you see people facing dire consequences and still reluctant to change. I think I need to reconcile myself to accept things I can't change. Otherwise, I get too stressed out.

Hope you have a wonderful day and fun weekend.

I want a juicer. It's on my wish list at Amazon, but so many things have to come first. I have a blender, and that's good enough for now. Once I get my community garden going well, I'll have much more to juice.

I used to have one, and I used the fruit pulps in smoothies and the veggie pulps in creamed soups. The pulp still has a lot of flavor in it, and it's great fiber!

My ex-roommate had a trampoline that she never used, so I used it. I should have just taken it when I left, because she finally gave it away. I want to get another one, but I have to wait until I get this place decluttered so I'll have space to use it.

Let us know how it goes with the juicer!

    Yes, change is possible.
Enjoy your juicing experiments - I find I get overwhelmed with more pulp than I can use from the juicer. Also, I have to be sure not to have pips and stalks in it. You might be able to put some in soups, but it might be too fibrous to be pleasant. Carrot and apple are good to use to make things like raw cakes.

I have a mini trampoline - I have to fold it up when I'm not using it. I reckon I'd use it more if I could leave it set up - do you have space to leave it up?

I use my Ninja blender instead of a juicer, so technically I make smoothies. I need the pulp for the extra fiber. I do love it. I really like green thickies. I just use the free recipes, but they are definitely yummy.

Yes, you're really only in charge of yourself. Life gets easier once you wrap your head around that fact. And there are times of relapse, of course :)
    Happy juicing and bouncing.

Good luck with the juicing, bike, and trampoline.

Change is really hard for some people. I must admit I am not fond of most change but we have no choice but to endure it.
