Another LB Gone, and I Feel Lighter

It's now a total of 8 in since a month and a half ago when I started food tracking. I can't believe that, after all these years on SP, I was so resistant to tracking. Honestly, I thought I was making great choices. NOPE. I actually can feel the difference 8 lbs lighter makes. The lightness of being.

I'm easing into juicing and don't think I'll do only juice for days and days. I'll probably mix it up with "real" food/meals. Yesterday, by late afternoon, I was ready to eat a bear and wonder how people can do juice only.

Love these cooler temps now. Can't believe yet another monster hurricane is on the horizon for the East Coast. Scary, even from far away.

    I prefer smoothies to juicing. I need the pulp to keep me full.

    Congrats on 8 pounds gone and nutrition information learned! I always do better when I track. Celebrate!! You are doing GREAT!!

    I used juicing to help clear my psoriasis, but I found just too much waste and cost. I found I could use the pulp left from juicing to make tasty salads and stews. I'd have juice in the morning and then use the pulp in something for the afternoon or evening. For weight management, I find eating vegetables and fruits in their more natural state is more satisfying. If your gut is stressed, though, juice does give it a rest.

    i could not just do juices i would have it only for breakfast or lunch . congrats on tracking and your weight loss . those hurricanes are scary , prayers for everyone in the path

    Good job with the food tracking & weight loss....glad you feel lighter & probably more energy....

    Moderation may be best with your juicing plan...a good FLUSH now & then helps remove too many carbs & CHEESE!!!! emoticon emoticon

    I have to have something to chew. To me drinks are drinks and food is food. I couldn't live on any single food though. I need variety.

    Intelligent well balanced programs work best. Juice, apples, grapefruit, coffee, etc. are good for the short term to give it a kick but are extremely difficult to maintain over the long haul!

    Never have tryed juicing, I honestly don't think I could handle it long term either. Have a good day!
