Doing Radically Healthy Eating, but Body's Still Refusing to Let Go of Pounds

After the first 10 lbs. in the past month and a half, this stubborn body of mine refuses to budge. No wonder some of my SP friends go solely by how their clothes fit rather than that blasted scale.

I'm eating so healthy, that I can hardly believe it or stand myself. (smiling) My body should be melting away and thanking me heartily. Oh well.

    Everyone is spot on about your caloric intake...If you are making healthy choices, & have portion control your TOTAL calories may be in question. Adjust them for a day & see what happens....but watch the cheese... emoticon

    Keep in mind that the healthiest way to eat for one person may not be for another. I was eating what was considered extremely healthy for many years and my system didn't like it. I was thin and my doctor could not understand why it didn't work as I kept getting more medical problems and started getting bad labs. He was a rigid thinker and didn't think outside of the box. Could you have a food intolerance? Lots of people have them. A food trigger that causes you to hang on to weight? There are well known ones. Are you sensitive to nightshades? They cause inflammation in some people. Are you eating too many carbs/protein/fat? Not enough? Too many calories/not enough. Too much salt? Calorie and carb cycling works for many people as does things like intermittent fasting. Maybe you have gut issues.Maybe you need to try an elimination diet. In general, middle aged women have to eat differently to lose weight than young ones do.

    Yep. A Snickers candy bar will break your plateau and start your downward direction again. Good luck!

    Make sure your calories are not too low on a daily basis.
    Maybe go out and have an In and Out burger on me (I miss them...).
    I'm serious! Cycling my calories a bit seems to be helpful.
