Looking Back but Moving Forward

September is coming to a close. Moving into Fall and the holiday, or as I call it the ‘eating’, season.
I had a mixed bag month. I essentially stayed the same. Up and down with the same pounds. I had a great vacation back east visiting family and friends. It was a blast. It was also a challenge. People were complimentary and congratulated me on my weight loss. They were also pushing food, like I was a starving refugee, at me. It was a difficult 10 day tightrope which I navigated, for the most part, well. As this challenging month comes to a close, I am looking forward to October and to seeing movement at the scale.
I joined the Fall 5% challenge which starts soon. I wanted a little more accountability while working through the ‘holiday’ portion of my program. The challenge runs from October 7 thru December 2 and it gives me the best opportunity to get to my end of the year goal (the 170’s) with support and encouragement of a great group, the Casual Travelers.
This is a picture from my vacation last week.
I felt and looked good. I was not afraid to face the camera as I have been in the past.
Looking forward to reaching my next goal. October, here I come. It’s going to be a good month. How do I know? I plan to make it so.
