Too Fast, Too Soon

Well I went and did it!
I wanted to lose the weight as fast as others have and now I've injured my knee. I can't put much pressure on it and it doesn't want to bend. So no walking and no bike riding!
I cannot go from doing nothing to doing explosive exercise!
It was too much too soon
I want this so badly!

    I am so sorry you have injured yourself, I can identify as some here have said, we want everything to be done "yesterday" and we go head on at full speed ahead, but the good news is you are getting better and in time you will find a program that works best for you, what works for me may not for you and vice versa, the key is finding the pace and fitness program that is suitable for you. It's 1 step at a time, we can do this together! I am standing with you and will cheer you on your journey,

    I am so sorry you hurt yourself! I did that after my Dr released me after chemo treatments. I should have taken it easy............ended up with bursitis. Then had a hernia-not good! I hope you mend quickly and are able to come up with a work out plan that works, but doesn't stress your body! emoticon Maybe some chair exercises in the meantime?

    So sorry to hear that you injured yourself! I did the same thing a while back, but mine was my ankle. It'll take time, but you'll get where you want to be!!!!

    I hurt myself jumping rope one time so.I know it's frustrating! But take heart that you can still lose weight even if you can't exercise because of your injury...I saw a saying recently that said something like...."Get fit in the gym, but lose weight in the kitchen"....that is the truth! Weight loss is mostly what we eat, so you can still stay on plan as you wait to heal...you'll be back to exercising soon!

    I hate it when that happens. I had a bicycle wreck a couple of weeks ago, so I can empathize with you. Take the time to let your body heal. And in the meantime, eat healthy.

    Seems we can lose weight even when we don't exercise. You can do it!

    Sorry you injured yourself. I hope you heal soon. I know we want the weight gone now but the fact is that’s just not how it works for most of us. We have to move at a steady speed and it will come off. At least that works for me. Good luck.
