So we only have two months left to 2017. Has it been what you were hoping for? If not, can you take what you have and be grateful for where you are right now? What can you do to finish this year strong?
I asked myself these 3 questions yesterday. I honestly wanted to explore how I feel.
Has it been what I was hoping for:
I started 2017 wanting to get into the 170’s. That meant I needed to lose 40 pounds this year. I am not there yet but I have had consistent, if slow, weight loss this year. I am down almost 36 pounds. I might still get to 40. However, if I don’t, I know I have done the best that I can on my journey so far.
Can I take what I have and be grateful:
Yes. I am off blood pressure medication. I am off cholesterol medication. I am exercising every day and do it with joy and anticipation. I am feeling very positive about and grateful for my success.
What can I do to finish the year strong:
I can continue to work my plan, exercise, eat right and stay positive.
Finally, whether I get to be 40 pound lighter this year or not, I know I have had a very good journey during 2017 and, I also know, the best is yet to come.
So I will just keep moving forward.
