I appreciate and love my Body

Wednesday, November 01, 2017

Hi Spark Friends, coming to terms that I must love and appreciate every part of my body. I struggle today as I meditated on this positive affirmation. Age, aches, pains and more trips to the bathroom have happened yet do not have to define me. I am thankful for all God’s wonder in every inch of me. I am a grown baby who has earned as a badge of time, courage and experience every wrinkle, stretch mark and sagging skin tissue in my body. I love myself enough to accept my body “as is” taking care to improve it. Hard exercise to look in the mirror and tell my each body part “thank you. I love you” out loud. Part of restoring my self esteem, self confidence and ability to continue living healthier through this exercise.

Yes, over the years our bodies do change, and there really isn't much we can do about it. So I just go with the flow, cause a year from now I may discover I can't do this or that anymore, and that is okay, didn't need to do it anyway. lol

Excellent! I feel I've earned every lump, bump, sag and wrinkle, too. They're all signs of lessons learned along the way.

LOVE yourself! I am working on that too.

When I typed clinic notes for doctor visits--it didn't take long before I started to realize, quite literally, that despite anything which has gone wrong with my body, that I can be so totally thankful that nothing more or worse went wrong--the body is SO incredible and able to survive despite things far worse than any one person ever has go wrong.
