Emotions - either happy or sad really set off my eating ...

...and even when making good choices of foods, there was no portion control!!! And I think the salt was off the charts but sugar /carbs in GOOD control.

This was the day to meet the young man that is making our daughter so happy - cooked a good basics meal of pot roast/celery/carrot/potato [which I had no potato and very little carrot] Fresh veggie tray, protein tray of small cheese shapes, laughing cow wedges, baby bell cheese, lean ham shapes and turkey breast shapes. Variety of ice creams for desert and I stuck to the low carb/gluten free/ and the one thing I measured into a half cup scoop. And lots of ice water in pretty Christmas glasses and on Christmas china - fun meal. Delightful young man and daughter is just floating so we are smiling.

They have headed back to the city and now back to essentials of good health. And trying to look back and guess how much I ate of what and actually not as far overboard as I had fears!! I entered some estimates into the tracker - how do we indicate that it is estimates - not reality?
