Wine! Also, a question about weighing every single day...

So I've always wanted to learn about wine, but my husband and I haven't really been in the position to buy more than a bottle or two a month. I like the idea of trying lots of different wines and learning my tastes, because there is nothing more satisfying than a wonderful glass of wine in the evening with dinner.

For Christmas, my father-in-law bought me a bottle of Apothic Crush and a cute wine holder that came with a little voucher in the box. Nakewines. $100 off a case of wine. I've never bought a case of wine and had no idea what that would cost. I went to the site and learned about the company, then got 12 bottles of wine shipped from California for $60! When they came in, I put them on a wine rack and just looked at them lovingly for about five minutes haha.

I opened the first bottle last night with friends and a dinner of jambalaya. An Australian Shiraz that was nothing like anything I'd ever tasted. I can't wait to try them all! But I'm going to...'cause that's what you do with wine, haha.

Anyways, I was also wondering about how many of you actually weigh in every single day, and whether or not you find it helpful? I feel like my weight fluctuates depending on lots of small factors like the time of day, water weight, time of month, etc., so wouldn't it be kind of a roller coaster to check every day and be either happy or disappointed depending on the number? I'm used to weighing every week, and I feel like it gives me a more accurate snapshot of my progress, but I'm curious about your thoughts.     I find that it is really strange that when I'm on a diet I never weigh myself but any time I'm trying to eat healthy or loose weight that is the one thing I want to do every day. I try to do it at the exact same time every day but like the other comments suggest it can be very discouraging when you see an increase. I don't log my results in SP every day but more when there is a consistent drop. This week one of my goals is to not weigh every day...I've allotted 3 days that I'm allowed to do that. So we will see if that helps or if it makes no difference at all.

    I've tried to use that voucher before but unfortunately couldn't. I live in Michigan and apparently there are some laws or rules that prohibit that. I was totally bummed because $60 for a case of wine is awesome!

    As far as weighing in everyday, I've learned that the scale lies! And it can be disheartening so I guess if you are aware that this is true and you don't get discouraged easy then why not?

    I love wine and am definitely still learning! We got married 4 years ago and still have a few bottles left from the wedding, but it is almost gone. I am really excited to get to try new varieties again and figure out what I really like.

    I weigh myself every day, in the morning, after I have used the facilities for consistency, but I still don't really trust the scale on a daily basis. I wait until it shows me the same loss (or unfortunately gain) 3 days in a row. Otherwise, I feel it is probably just water weight or something in that vein.
