218 to 183 and sparkpeople for the goal

In June of this year I joined a face to face weight loss group and went from 218 to 183. In January they changed the way they calculate the foods on their plan. It didn’t work for me so I started winging it. Now I realize that to make it to goal and to life I need to track my daily food. Thank you spark people as I continue my journey. I wish spark people would come out with weekly face to face meetings. But I am so thankful for the online community and tools that are here to help me. ❤️❤️❤️

    Check out for meetings - they might have some in your area; or the phone meetings - quite a few everyday from usually from 5:45AM to 2AM; ymmv with their content, but I have found something useful in most I have gone to or listened to; also their podcasts: .

    Could also look on, for some sort of local group that meets your needs; if you are talking about ww, my sister, who lost 50 pounds on the older way (she didn't like the revised points intro'd in 2016), has lost 7 this year. Oth, I prefer to just track cals. But she and I both agree tracking food is KEY, making one mindful of one's choices.

    You know what works for you, even while switching it up, so good job and good luck!

    Congrats on losing the 35 pounds. Tracking food on Spark People will help you to continue that. It's healthy eating! emoticon
