Planning for Challenges

Every year my company has an event, that is filled with meetings, trainings and wrapped up with Awards and Dinner. I am part of the support team to help with all of the admin stuff
that goes along with such an event. The days, are long, the food is outstanding, I look forward to it each year. Some years I've held back and not enjoyed the food portion of the event. But in sticking with my Clean Slate Commitment. I'm building a lifestyle that will work for each and every life occasion. There's always going to be events, celebrations, parties etc. I am working on building my plan to learn better on how to ebb and flow. Do I really want something, did I enjoy it, am I eating mindfully and not just stuffing food in my mouth.
My event starts on Saturday and completes on Tuesday. As I prepare for this week. I am looking ahead to be sure this week I have my food planned and on the basic program
that I've been following, which has been 1200-1400 calories give or take, and staying
below 60 carbs and no processed food. I know what the meals will be, and I think other than the cocktail hour I'll be okay. I don't drink, but the cocktail hour is filled with great appetizers.
Having a plan and really being mindful of my program. Is important to me.
