Beck Diet Solution, day 8

I just realized that I am maybe fooling myself with day 8. It's about fitting in the tasks needed to be able to stick to a diet: grocery shopping, cooking, meal planning and so on,and exercise.
I figured I have the necessary tasks 'in my system' already.... But I do need to think about it because lately I've been quite unwilling or too tired to cook, forgot about meal planning and too often just made a makeshift meal with less-than-perfect (though not terrible) choices, or trying to tempt my husband to go eat out.
So I do need to think about this.
I have a thought that I might make a list of meals (dishes) I want to eat in the next week and get the ingredients when we do shopping. And then make a dish in such amounts that we can eat the same dish twice in one week, only with different 'side' dishes. For examle a veggie stew that could be eaten with rice one night and with potatoes another night. A soup that can serve as a starter one night (or for lunch) but that can be 'filled' with beans to make it a meal-soup. Things like that.
I'm going to set a reminder in my laptop to plan the meals and make a grocery list on friday mornings (we get most of the groceries on friday or saturday).
I have also thougth that I should do more biking, my legs are getting weaker and hurting more now that I don't bike as much (I get my exercise from walking the dog now, using a walking bike).
AND I really want to (I was going to say HAVE TO, but let's try to stay positive) do strength training. I need to think about how and when to fit that in.
I'm not done with day 8, yet!
