Disappointed but the month is still young!

So today was weigh-in day. Started new page on February 1st and have been going great guns! Exercising every day, tracking food and skipping sweets, drinking more water than I usually do - and the biggest accomplishment has been skipping my glass (or two) of red wine each evening! So I thought that today would be awesome!!!!
But alas, I only lost .2 of a pound....not 2 pounds, not 1 pound, not .50 of a pound, just a measly .2 of a pound. Yes, I am disappointed. I had expected more. So I have been reflecting on this disappointment all day and I cannot explain why I have not lost weight.
But this is only February 8th - and I have 20 more days this month to get slimmer. Fortunately, I still feel good about all the things I am doing. I am positive and upbeat, disappointed and confused, but feeling good and motivated to keep going!
Got a new fitness tracker yesterday - a Motiv ring! I am excited that this might be the boost I needed to better track my steps and activity! So bring on the those next 20 days as I am ready to go forward!!!!
