So sore. Winning?

Hey y’all. Short update blog, mainly because someone, you know who you are, reminded me that it’s been a while since I blogged.
Ok, so, Year of Mommy has been full of: wine, food, and lots of running!
I didn’t drink tonight or last night (also winning-ish?) so I’ll do a weigh in tomorrow. Obviously 195 by the end of January was a no-go but perhaps end of February?
Ran 8 miles today at 11:30 pace. Lots of hills. I was pretty solid the first 6 and then struggled the last 2. And now I can barely move and am going to bed at 8pm.
The worst thing about distance running as a parent is if by some miracle you manage to fit in the time for a long run...dealing with the kiddos the rest of the day is a total disaster because you are sore and can’t move.
Anyhoo. I’ve got a 10 miler coming up in two weekends, and I’ve done that race a zillion (ok at least 3) times and I like it. Half marathon is roughly 2 months away so I am feeling good.
Sore, and fat, but good.
