Day 3 60 Day Challenge to meet my Diabetes Goals 1 day at a time.

Goals for Challenge:
My goal for May 1, 2018 is to have my A1C down to 7 or below. It is currently 8.1.
My goal for March 30, 2018 is to have recorded my BS 4 x daily and keep my pre-meal BS 145 or below.
These goals will be accomplished by following my food plan, monitoring portion sizes, taking insulin as ordered based on carbs for each meal and snacks. I will be recording here each day how it went. Good or bad. I need to hold myself accountable. I hope if you follow me it may help you with your own journey.
Day 2 was a good day. BS were high pre-meal for breakfast and supper. Portion size may have been off for supper. Today measuring everything to be sure what I am having. Have a good kitchen food scale to use now so will be weighing meats and making up my own snack packs.
Took my BS 3X yesterday. Fell asleep early and missed bedtime BS. Insulin taken as ordered.
Meals planned out for today. FBS - 169. Per Dr will be increasing my long acting Insulin tonight and seeing if that helps morning BS. This is an adventure and insulin adjustment is part of the journey. Had GF Oatmeal for breakfast. Took insulins as ordered.
11:00 BS 135. Had lunch of Turkey Sandwich. Have drank 40oz of healthy fluids. Took Insulin as ordered.
