After taking it easy (yes, too easy) for the past 4 days I am once again back in the game. Senior's exercise group (mostly chair exercises) followed by an hour of water walking (my latest adventure) and then off to Physio where I really push myself. She thinks the leg looks better than last week. That I should try and get down there 2-3 times a week. That I can do two flights of stairs a day (she obviously forgot she told me I could do 10). That it's not an exact science. But definitely, doing nothing is far worse than overdoing it. I'm glad she told me to take the rest of the day off because I am exhausted. Won't have another hard day til Thursday.

    (((HUGS))) happy to see you are sticking with what needs to get done. life is all about adjustments.... as you said it's not a science.... and i don't believe that everyone follows the textbook cases. you are as unique as the rest of us...tweaking things from time to time is required. keep trying and stay positive. eventually you WILL get there.

    Wow! You really had a busy day. That's great news that your leg is looking better! The water walking is great as it resistance training but without gravity and weight on your leg. If you're anything like me, some days my leg feels better than others. Some days it feels stronger than others too. You're doing great and really working at trying to get back to where you were! emoticon emoticon emoticon

    That's a lot of exercise for one day. No wonder she wanted you to take it easy the rest of the day. I'm so happy that she's seeing improvement. Can you notice the difference? I'm so proud of how hard you are working. emoticon emoticon

    Wow! You are working hard! I would think the water walking would be excellent. The water allows us to move without the effect of all the weight on our joints. I would talk to the physio about it.
