Setting the record straight

Sunday, April 08, 2018

The photos I have here show my progress when I lost weight in Ecuador. I took photos every 10 pounds down and they go all the way to 185, down from 242.

Then in 2013 I moved, retired, divorced, and went through empty nest. Those aren't excuses, but I put on a LOT of weight very quickly. I ballooned up past my previous top weight to 272.

I changed my ticker and all when I got back on track, but today I finally changed my before photo. I am sooooo glad I don't look like that any more! More to the point, I'm so glad I don't FEEL like that any more.

I've kept the pictures from every 10 pounds down and I've put up the one that's closest to my current weight on my front page. I look forward to having a new one when I get to 175, but that's a long way off from now. (Edit -- I changed to a picture of today wearing the same T-shirt.)

Here is my current progress:

My new before photo

Not too bad, right?
