I have heard it said that loosing the weight is easy, but keeping it off is not! This is so true for me. I started to really focus on getting healthy about 5 years ago when my weight was at an all time high of about 235 pounds. After a little more than a year and a half, I had lost about 80-90 pounds. I have gained back about 30 of those pounds! I am determined to loose at least 20 pounds since at my recent lowest weight everyone thought I looked too thin. My goal now is to loose 20 pounds. I don't want to undo all of my hard work! emoticon

    I agree! I have always said that I am great at losing weight, and great at gaining weight, but not at maintaining. Indicates the problem is more than counting calories, no doubt! But hang in there. Every thing we do to improve has to be be better for us than not doing anything.

    I agree. Keeping off the weight loss is not easy. You have to make permanent lifestyle changes in order to maintain the weight loss and make sure you don't fall back into the same habits that you had before. Maintaining those new healthy habits is the key!
