Was reading some of my old blogs. Came across the one where my youngest DGS was starting kindergarten. Fast foward - he's finishing 5th grade this year and starts middle school in the fall.

So much has happened in those 6 years, the oldest graduated high school and has been accepted into the Navy, just waiting to go to basic training. The DGD has had a BF for 2 years and is on a college visit today. I have been dealing with cancer and treatments for 3 years.

DD and her DH have done major home improvements, mostly by themselves, including an in ground pool with a deep end (hired that one out).

My weight is down from my starting point by about 50 pounds and I am comfortable with it. Most of the weight loss was dramatic due to cancer. Not the most ideal way, but at least I had the weight to lose rather than being at 140 and losing 40 pounds from that point.

Time goes by so fast. It's amazing how quickly our children and grandchildren grow up. I'm sorry to hear about your cancer, I am a survivor myself. I pray that you are now well. Stay strong. You can do all things through Christ.
