Day 10 - Sticking with LCHF and Alcohol Free (AF)!

This is Day 10 AF! I'm not worried about buying a bottle and blowing my streak today. I'm feeling good about this.

I've been meditating twice a day, something I used to do before I was a heavy drinker. It really has helped me make better choices.

I'm feeling much better psychologically. Now, if only my back would cooperate. I have scoliosis and kyphosis as a result of a car accident 40 years ago, and the past few days have been rough. I haven't resorted to drinking to kill the pain, though! I have been taking the tramadol the doctor is trying to wean me off of, and I have been meditating and doing the basic McKenzie Treat Your Own Back exercises. It is improving. And I didn't use it as an excuse for drinking, as I normally would have.

    i'm just getting back to it recently .. mindful practice keeps me in the moment and aware of what is.. keeps me in "my business" and out of Gods and everyone else's .. !! this is huge to deal with the "caretaker" in me ..
    AF is also a very powerful decision .. without the booze our vibrations increase .. the magic and power of the universe and ourselves is revealed .. very exciting for me to drop the booze and find the real me ..
