Today when I woke up, I felt like it could be a very low energy day. My first thought was to make it a rest day and basically do nothing. I did sit in my chair for almost an hour, drinking coffee, chatting with hubby and playing with our pup. The longer I sat, the less I felt like doing anything. I decided I need to get off my butt and do something so I took Sadie for a walk around the pasture a few times and got in 30 minutes of quick walking and quite a few steps towards my goal. When I got back to the house, I fixed a quick breakfast and then pushed myself to go outside and start working on my flower garden, pulling weeds, raking and putting down some mulch. That took me almost two hours. Now, DH and I are relaxing a little before dinner and will take a walk afterwards. Seems today didn't end up being a rest day after all and I feel on top of the world.
