A challenge today was to write about my exercises schedule and how I can improve. The last two weeks have not been successful in exercise. I have gotten lots of activity, but not actual exercise. We have been busy doing some remodeling inside and out. Some days I have been on the run as an unpaid "gopher" so much that I've hardly had time for anything else. As soon as I've gotten up my husband has had something for me to do for him. This is when I like to get in my exercise. if I don't get it done in the morning, too many other things get in the way, and by evening I'm too tired. After next week, all this should be finished. My plan then is to have a talk with my husband again, and explain to him my exercise plans.
My plans are to walk every morning before breakfast. I walk then because with my medication I have to wait at least 30 minutes after taking it to eat. Then I will add Pilates at least 3 days a week and weights Tuesday and Friday. I want to work up to doing weights every other day. I know that if I can follow this plan, I will be able to start the scale moving in the right way again. It will also help restore some of the muscle I've lost over the years. I know I can do it. It just takes making sure I follow through with my plans. Most of all, I will feel better.
