Good afternoon

You all know I have been off track lately. I'm sorry! But as of today I am getting back on track!! That's right I'M BACK!!

Today I started a new DARE to do. I am so impressed with the idea I decided to ask all of my spark friends to join me. A lot of this stuff you are probably already doing but let's take a week and do it together!


These are the things I'll be using this week to help me get motivated and back on track and I'm asking the YOU to join me.

These are the 5 habits I am gong to work on starting today!

One: Weighing, measuring, and tracking every food and beverage that enters my mouth using the SparkPeople Nutrition Tracker. No eye-balling!

Two: Tracking my fitness minutes and calories burned using the SparkPeople fitness tracker.

Three: Eating high-quality foods that promote weight loss. This means nutritious whole foods, like fruits, veggies, whole grains, lean protein, and low-fat dairy.

Four: Drinking at least 64 ounces of water per day.

And five: Celebrating at least one non-scale victory to help me stay motivated.

Plus repeat 3 times a day:
I can do this! I am worth it! I will succeed!

I also have started a spark challenge for 1 week: Should be fun;
LoL Challenge 7/8 Fitness Feats
The daily fitness challenge allows you to select from the of "wins". Which are positive actions that help improve your fitness level. This will include fitness activities & other actions that contribute to a good fitness program.

Write down at least 1 fitness goal in the morning
The first 10 minutes of fitness counts as 3 wins
Each additional 10 minutes of fitness counts as 1 win
Stretch at least 5 minutes
Do a strength workout
Try a new exercise or workout
Ask a buddy to workout with you

I'm wishing everyone an awesome week ahead.

My NSV for today (dare project) I tried spinach enchilada when I went out to lunch. Had to be less calories. Had no beans & rice. I also went to the store and purchased celery, tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, bananas, mango for snacks. Maybe if I have to munch stick celery in my mouth!! I got up and took Keoni for a walk this morning. I'm moving again!! emoticon
