I stumbled upon a new menu yesterday that I feel
I can live with "forever". I have been looking for a
food plan that is close to range of SparkPeople and
one I can live with. I wanted it to have most of the
macros I need, a variety that I can live with, etc.
Yesterday, I found it.

It contains per day: 4 fruit servings , 2 servings of
veggies, 1 serving Greek yogurt, 1 cheese stick, 1/2 c
cottage cheese, 3 serving multi-grain bread. It is within SP
recommended range except slightly lower in carbs and
protein but more in range for my diabetes carb-limiting.
It contains daily amount of fiber range. 1582 cal (my
range is 1299-1649). It also contains lower sugar impacted
snacks but stuff I like and prevents my binging. I believe I
can live with this.

I set up a new plan for daily tracking in exercise, food,
sunshine, measurements (monthly), wellness (stress,
mood, sleep quality, energy and self-esteem) health
measurements (BP, sleep time (from CPAP), hydration
and BMI, (from my scale).

Challenges weekly:
SP challenges:4
Calendar challenges : 2

This is plenty good for right now. Still working on it

Sparkpeople is not a medical site. You might run this diet by your doctor to be sure. The diet doesn't sound like what most doctors here recommend for diabetes. All carbs convert to sugar. Most here would be recommending 4 servings of veggies and 2-3 servings of fruit. They are not keen on a lot of bread as there are much healthier grains. Legumes would be a better choice. Protein is important as it keeps blood sugar stable.

Great planning on your part. Planning always helps me stay on track, especially if I include some non-food rewards along the way! Awesome work.
