Week 2 - Still the caterpillar, inching my way along

Well, here I am at week 2, doing ok. I am probably doing better than that, but I feel a bit put down about this past weekend. I ate 3/4 of a bag of Doritos, along with a large size Ghiradelli chocolate and caramel bar. Why?, no clue. I also didn't do any activity on Saturday (which is when I ate all this crap).. Perhaps I just need a a rest, or maybe it was a touch bit of depression.

But, I did make a great dinner. I am not a cook, nor do I really enjoy cooking, but Reggie lights up when I do step foot in the kitchen, and so thus I have set a NSV of cooking dinner for him every Saturday, following that up with walking for at least 30 minutes with him and the pup on Sundays. The dinner and the walk we accomplished this weekend, so I feel really good about that.

Well, my lovely, here's to a fresh new week. Blessings that every goal that is set, gets reached.

    Food manuf. hire food scientists to come up with flavors and chemicals in their foods to keep us coming back for more or make it difficult to stop at just one serving. It's no wonder the US is filled with so much overweight and sick people. My point... it's not your fault for eating what you did. I've found that the best way to avoid toxic junk, is to either keep it out of the house, out of sight or sub with a healthier alternative. Have a great week and congrats on your NSVs!!
