I Need Help

Thursday, September 13, 2018

So, a lot has went on in my life in the past month or two since I've logged in. I work two jobs, one which is full time and the other is at least two weekend days a month. I have two kids and.....I started nursing school! I am extremely excited about this but the stress, the fact that I am not home, and the lack of time have my weight climbing at a pace quicker then I expected. I know I KNOW it needs to slow down and i know I need to find a place in the days to take time to not work or study but rather work out, relax and make sure I am eating well but its so hard. I have resorted to spending money I dont have on food my body doesnt need but its convienent. I need some tips or tricks for eating on the go. I can carry healthy snacks that dont need to be refrigerated or warmed but as for actual meals I am stumped. HELP!

I also started a new job and have found the wonders of a Bento box! You can put crackers and cheese in a compartment (cheese can last without being refrigerated). You can put carrots. Or crackers and hummus. The sugar free jello is fantastic. Try some of those veggie chips (baked) in individual portion sizes. Also Aldi has some fabulous Fiber Now snacks that are individually wrapped - I am addicted. Even a power bar or a shake.

    Good luck with everything!

I'm getting a newsletter from Jennifer at iSaveA2Z. Recipes, tips & tricks, and ideas. I'm in a similar situation and have found the word "No" has reduced a lot of my stress. It was hard at first but gets easier. Keep posting!
