Engagement Photos!

Monday, October 08, 2018

Hey y'all,

So this past weekend we had our engagement photos taken. (I am usually not one for photos, but, this was part of our package.. and well, it's always nice to have a photo of you and your love together AND not via selfie-stick!) Our photographer is amazing. She is easy going, has a great eye for the little things that might get overlooked, and she is passionate about her craft and equally so about her clients.

I had a great make-up day (applied by me, and I don't wear it very often, so.. go me!), a great hair day (again, done by me, also.. I don't do my hair very often either.. messy bun Queen!) and the weather was beautiful. I chose an outfit that would hide my problem areas, so I felt better about taking these photos.

Got a sneak peek of some of the shots and I am pleased. She really captured the essence of what makes Us, Us. I have to say that looking at those pictures was a gentle reminder that I really am blessed to have the love and support in my life.. Not just from him, but from my family and friends.

So, on those days where I feel "fat", "sloppy", "ugly" or questioning why I even bother to keep trying.. I'm gonna look at those photos. Love is what will get me through to the other side.

Keep on making each day a positive one, and I hope y'all have the same love and support. Stay Healthy, - xo

What?! We don't get a sneak peek? But they sound so great. (Sorry if that was pushy, my daughter just got engaged this weekend so we're in full wedding mode. emoticon )
I bet it felt great to be looking good. Congrats!
