Walking in the (rare) Rainfall
Saturday, October 13, 2018
Last night, my walk wound up being later in the day, toward nightfall. I don't remember the last time it rained here in SoCal and we are in dire need.
Set out with a sweatshirt on and no clue that rain had been predicted so that I would have prepared myself with my little folding umbrella. It's still pretty warm, and it was a pleasant walk until the first drops of rain starting falling.
Then, down harder it came. Fortunately, I was close to home so not soaked. But I love walking with warm drops falling on me. There's something peaceful and pleasant about rain. I know that some of you who live in plentiful regions are sick of it, but it is scarce here.
Was supposed to be able to see the Intl Space Station last night, but too cloudy. Due to fly over at 6:41 tonight; I'll try again to see it. It's always fun to watch.
Wishing all a happy, healthy day.
