Fall 5% Challenge - Entering week 4

Last week the Living the Good Life challenge was "No Random Eating" in the place you're most likely to do it. My initial thought was my desk, but I have started keeping just some healthy cereal bars I don't crave so I have something if I really need it but I won't snack just for the sake of it. I was stumped. Luckily on day one, I needed to pick up my friend for a weekend away. As I was clearing out candy wrappers, muffin papers and pepperette packages I realized I have a place where I do most of my random eating.
Last night I got gas and lottery tickets and needed to pay inside - I've started paying at the pump because there are no snacks there. Inside the gas station we're bombarded with candy bar sales, combo deals, fresh(ish) pastries. Part of the cashier's job is to ask me "Would you like some snacks today?". My job is to say "No, thanks!". Over the summer I stopped picking up chips or a cookie and only had pepperettes as a car snack because they have protein at least. The better ones come in 2 packs (each is a "serving"). Who is going to open a 2 pack of something in the car and only eat 1? Not me, unfortunately.
I also pass a coffee shop on my way to the train station and if I haven't made breakfast I'd stop in for a pastry except it wasn't for 1 because I know a pastry won't satisfy me until lunch so it was 1 for the car ride and 1 for work (doubling my usual breakfast calories with no nutrients). As the summer passed the lazy days got more frequent.
This past week, I've made sure to pack breakfast and I've ignored the call of the salty, fatty, tasty pepperette.
This week's LTGL challenge is calcium. I started the day with a grilled cheese sandwich with ketchup and a side of yellow pepper slices. I'm already at a 3rd of my daily calcium requirement.
I went 5 for 7 last week with no random eating and I'm planning on 7 for 7 this week. I didn't do well on tracking last week as I went out more often than usual, but I skipped appetizers and dessert when I ate out and enjoyed water with my entrées. This week I'll need to track so I can track my calcium.
