10 Weeks In

I can't believe it's been 10 weeks already! It somehow simultaneously feels like it's been shorter and longer than 10 weeks that I've been working on losing weight and living a healthier lifestyle. But it's really amazing what a difference 10 weeks can make!
- I've lost 19 lbs!
- I've lost 11.5 inches
- I can run 3 miles
- I am *almost* out of the obese BMI range (weighed in at 156.6 today, looking to get to 153 by the end of the year)
It hasn't been super easy. I've had a couple of bad weeks. It's important to remember that you don't have to be perfect to lose weight. You don't have to become a fitness/nutrition guru overnight (or ever!) you just have to start consistently making good choices, accept that sometimes you'll make bad ones but it's okay to let those go and keep moving forward.
Below is what my weight loss has looked like in the past 10 weeks. There is a lot of up and down. Sometimes we let the ups discourage us too much. Just remember that they are temporary as long as you keep trying.
