Christmas Spirit

It's been a tough couple of weeks for not only me but my fellow co-workers. A little over a week ago I was off of work due to me being ill. While I was at home trying to get well, A co-worker died from a seizure; having never had seizures before in his life. Today we attended his funeral. But this past Friday I got permission from my supervisor to be able to decorate our tree that is behind our building. Hopefully it will lighten the mood of my fellow co-workers and put them in the Christmas spirit. I have to add 2 more strands of garland and the lights. I Enlisted the help of my uncle who climbed the ladder for the top part, unfortunately it was not tall enough for him to put a star up there. But, I don't think that tree had ever been decorated. So I say not bad for a first time out! My leftover ornaments went to that pitiful looking tree in the background. Now I know some people are thinking, what about Thanksgiving! And I haven't forgotten about it, however this was a non-food activity that I thoroughly enjoyed. I will be busy this Thursday and my decorated tree will be but a distant memory😁😉
