Starting a regular blog by absolute beginner at it?!?!

I've never been someone who was into keeping journals but I've read enough here that doing regular entries will help in my journey so I'm going to try to start doing this regularly.

Right now it's just getting through the rest of the year. November and December are rough months - had three miscarriages, lost a best friend and my grandmother who raised me - all in these months. Add in the stress of being a blended family and celebrating Hanukkah and Christmas and I seriously fight depression during this time. This year it seems worse than others and often seems better to just stay in bed than get on with my normal day. But that doesn't pay the bills or help with weight loss so I get up and go. I keep debating about talking to the doctor about meds but have heard they cause weight gain so holding off as long as possible. Been trying to exercise to counteract the blues and think it's helping.

Overall just keep thinking - come on January!!

    Perhaps you should talk to your doctor, there are many options out there and I'm sure you can work with your doc to find one that won't hinder weight loss. Your mental health is important too. Plus stress can grind weight loss to a halt too.
