The depo provera shot has been added to my pile of weight loss obstacles

I can't catch a break. The gyno prescribed the depo provera shot which is progesterone based, she believes it is more likely endometriosis causing pain rather than the fibroid, either way the shot should help reduce painful and heavy periods and is the best option since estrogen would make my migraines worse, and it's too early to consider surgery. The main issue for me with the shot is that it causes weight gain which happened to me when I had the shot 5 years ago. So, I get to add the shot to my list of obstacles that prevent me from losing weight; polycystic ovaries, moderate sleep apnea, and migraine medications were already making it extremely difficult. Now it appears my exercise routine will only help to prevent weight gain, and that eating healthy would not be enough alone to keep my weight from increasing. It took 75 miles of Leslie Sansone videos just to lose 3 pounds since December 7th, feeling overwhelmed and frustrated.
