I donated some clothing and shoes earlier in the week at church dinner and found more items over the past few days or more organizing, cleaning, and decluttering. Looking forward to church dinner This week so I can keep up the trend!

My son is coming home tonight from his dad's. He's been spending a few weeks there from just before the New Year. I've got some plans in place to kick 2019 into gear and really work on my career, housing, and personal goals. My boyfriend and I have been spending alot of quality and quantity time together over the past week. We've cooked alot of home meals, especially since I am not eating meat. He's jumped on board with the healthier fare. That will be something to work on with my son, a lover of popcorn, meat, and carbs. I haven't always been the best example in that department (junk food in particular), specifically with all the upheaval and transitions of our lives in the past years.

    Did you read what i wrote in teh FLAMINGLE ROOM about going through clothes the way Marie explains on NETFLIX? I am finding joy...or not in my clothes..and getting rid of the ones that do not bring me joy. emoticon emoticon

    PS - I really need to go through rooms full of clothes. There is no reason to keep anything that I do not wear, no matter the size.

    Good luck with your new eating plan. Just remember that moderation and not perfection are key. I read that your son loves popcorn and meat and carbs. I do too, but I have found that popcorn actually makes me feel sick...actually movie theater popcorn does...salt and fake butter and stale. Corn chips...or to many corn chips make me feel bad too. May be it is the corn or salt or processing. I am staying away from both corn products for now. I love my meat and dairy. I have given up as many carbs as I can, but I know I need some and also some fats. If you get some good vegetarian recipes, please, share them win the group.
