Overall, I'm happy with where I'm starting off the new year. This is the first Christmas season that I managed to escape without significantly gaining weight! Plus, on another bright note, my bloodwork came back looking good for the most part. My doctor was initially quite worried about my predisposition to become diabetic, but my A1C was actually 4.8! The thing that I need to work on right now is lowering my LDL cholesterol, and to do that, I've got to start exercising. One of my biggest goals for 2019 is to become consistent with exercising - even if that means going to the gym one day per week. The main thing is getting started, after all. Being so close to the 100-pounds-lost mark is so tempting, just 2lbs to go now! Hopefully February's check-in will bring good news.
