Aaron's Beard! Have I been busy!
So yesterday (Thursday) I met with Coach Cathy (CC) and she was delighted to rejigger my plans. The new and improved goal is to lose 5 to 6 pounds a month. So I'm already on track to meet my yearly goal. We're not going to focus on a total number but rather take small bites. She wants me to join a gym, I told her maybe next year. This year its all at home/nature workouts.
Secret confession: I have always wanted to be a person who wakes up with the sunrise and welcomes the day with yoga. Or Tai Chi.
Anyway, I went grocery shopping today and bought mostly healthy food off of my meal plan (which can I say I love meal plans- no guesswork!) I bought some M&M yo crunch on sale at Aldi, 8 for $3. I figure low calorie desserts or cheats or something they're normally $6 and it was a deal, so what? Don't judge me. Lol! 😛
Monday starts my new workout plan from my brother and I'm actually looking forward to it. Yoga is one of my favorite exercises.
Oh, and completely off topic, did anyone else's grandparents or the like refer to pancakes as pantuchins, nickels as nichuie, and water as seeahma? Because almost every older relative of mine refers to those items by those other names. I referred to a nickel as a nichuie to a cashier today and she and the older couple behind me had never heard of the reference. I know we have weird words amongst my family I.e. ice cream/kwee kweem, thank you/deh do, soda/doty, etc. But I could swear I have heard non relatives use those words. Maybe the Marx Brothers? We watched the Marx Brothers all the time growing up and anything with Bob Hope. In fact, we watched Paleface on VHS so many times we ruined the tape! Lol! Good times!
Anyway, thats all I have to report.
