BLC 39: What am I doing right this round!

I am so upset. I typed this up and went to post it and lost it. And it was good!! Oh well! Here we go again. Hope it turns out as good!

First I want to start out saying I almost didn't join this round. I hit a slump last round and couldn't get out of it. But because the previous rounds were wonderful I decided to stick it out another round. At first I thought I made a mistake and almost quit a couple of times. But I hung in here! That the first thing I did right!!

2nd because of my slump I lost all of my fitness ability so I needed to set baby steps to get back on track. So I set these goals:
Goal 1# wkly
1. Track all of my food to stay under 1550 calories
2. Minimum 10 min daily fitness & 90 min weekly
3. Positive self-talk daily
4. Eat at least 5 servings of fruits & veggies daily
5. Drink at least 8 glasses of water daily
6. Develop a plan for eating out at restaurants.
7. Plan & follow menu

I was having so much trouble sticking to these goals. Can you believe 10 minute of fitness can be so hard to do? Boy was I surprised on how hard it was to do. Every muscle in my body hurt but now I'm up to 15-25 minutes of fitness daily and I hurt less. Consistency really works.
#1 staying below 1550 calories has been impossible but I kept trying and I'm getting better. I have several days' of not overeating. In fact I might start a personal streak for me to see how many days I can do it. But so far I'm doing 2 &3 days spurts. Mess up I day or so in-between.
#3 I forget sometimes!
#4 doing it! almost daily!
#5 done deal... Really good at this one
#6 This one is impossible (I thought) I was never going to eat out again but I am improving... We had a women's breakfast and I ordered one egg scrambled with some veggies in it and toast! Did really good! Then yesterday my mom & I went to the movies and seen Miss Bala good movie! We bought a bucket of popcorn and I only ate a few handfuls!! I usually would eat the whole thing! Then we went out to lunch at Chili's - was planning on ordering the fajitas until I seen they were over 1000 calories. Wow who knew meat & veggie could be so high! So I changed my ordered to 6oz sirloin avocado at 430 calories! Then I took most of the steak home for dinner. Cooked it up with veggies & egg whites which kept down calories for dinner. Yep yesterday I didn't overeat!!
7. Still need to improve here but I do have my menu planned for today!!

That's what I am doing right this time. And the scale has started to move down!! So I greatest accomplishment was hanging in here when I was about ready to quit!

I started out doing the LCW, TNT, WEC but not the whole thing. This week I did the whole thing. HERE'S TO MY BLACKOUT FOR THE WEC!!

I want to thank Shira for all she does to keep me going- That goes for Dawn too! And I want to thank all the Butterfly's for all of their support and encouragement . It's really hard to be a good cheerleader when you are in a slump but thanks to my team I'm starting to feel better and I'm getting excited again!! So remember-always - AND smile
