Strength and Courage

Thursday, February 14, 2019

This last week has been a tough one... doing all the right things and I've gained weight. I know, I know... maybe it's muscle. My head knows that could be true, but the inner critic can not be silenced. It says horrible things... things that I wouldn't say to my worst enemy. To make matters worse, I've left work every day for over a week with a migraine.

But I'm still here. I'm doing what needs to be done. I'm up, but not out.

It'll come back down. But I know what you mean about doing everything right and the scale registering a gain. That's such a devastating feeling. Don't give up. Keep doing what you're doing and the scale will follow.

Sorry about the headaches...caused by stress at work?
As to weight gain..indeed as Linda pointed out..stress causes weight gain..water held..what ever numbers on scale go the wrong way. Important thing..how do you feel and is exercise easier than it was!
Scale is only a number...fitness is quality of life!!

    Worry is fattening.

Give yourself a break - and hopefully the headaches will stop too.

Please take care of yourself. Stop sweating the other stuff and praise yourself more. You’re doing awesome because you are trying. Sometimes weight will shift before you start losing. That’s what I think
