Here we go again

Trying harder to keep my calorie count at the lower end of my allowance and it seems to be helping. The pound I lost with toothache more or less crept back on again but this week it is away again. Also noticed definite improvement in muscle tone recently. That has to be down to doing lots of outdoor work in the garden. I had another motivational look at my weight loss graph and it really helped me to feel good about the amount I have lost. I joined in 2008 but was, in reality, half hearted about it all, then in 2013, after my husband had been very ill again, almost dying, I realised it was in my own hands to do something about myself so that I didn't suddenly die. Sometimes we need a hard wake up call. I'm only relieved we are both here to think about it. I can now say I have gone from 219 pounds, in January 2013 to my present weight of 174 pounds. I honestly can't remember the last time I weighed this. My shape is different now too. Then again, I'm 68 now so can hardly expect to stay the same. Also inspiring was checking my BMI and I'm now out of the obese range and my waist to hip ratio is normal too. Back to the dentist this week for a new crown and root canal treatment, so that should help concentrate my mouth on being careful about what I eat this week, lol. Doing my blog again next week to make myself more accountable too.
