Another week goes past.

No weight change this week but it was that curious thing with mechanical scales where the needle is fractionally on the positive ( that means lower) side. Not a measurable amount, just enough to make me feel not too bad. This time around I am not dieting or even specifically trying to lose weight. In the past whenever I went on a diet it worked for a short while until I got bored or slipped up. This time, and it has been working so far, I am simply trying to eat more healthily. I have not made any food "forbidden" but I do try to take more consideration about what I am eating. Ideally I would like to weigh quite a bit less. It is just going to take time. I have to keep reminding myself I am much healthier now than I was five years ago. My arthritis causes a lot of pain but if I had not lost weight it would be so much worse and my blood pressure is normal now.
